Journey with Tree

As I entered the waters of my cauldron, they transformed immediately to steam spirally up in a circular pattern, through my throat and up through my head, out my crown. When I met with Thoth, the corners of my mouth turned up and I broke into a big smile, unable to hide the joy I was feeling inside.

We walked together past all types of trees until we came to a beautiful flowering cherry tree.

I felt a wave of deep emotion and connection with this tree and I knew this was the one.

My tree was relatively mature but it didn’t feel “old.” It was healthy, with many branches reaching upward. It was in full bloom, loaded with flowers, promising a bumper crop of fruit.

It felt so good to be in it’s energy, a very warm and fuzzy feeling. I placed my hand on its gentle bark – no deep ridges or groves here.  I could feel the quality of air improve as I breathed deeply; the air seemed alive. I noticed a young duck walk, still fluffy and a brownish colour.

I placed my hand on the tree, and then very easily stepped inside.  It immediately felt like I was holding my arms up, reaching for the sky.  They didn’t seem tired though, but strong and wanting to reach further and further outward and upward. I felt so stable and secure, aware of the heights of my branches, the depth of my roots, and my solid core trunk all at the same time. My sight shifted, and how I see things changed. I could see and feel energy really vibrantly. I followed a tap root deeply into the earth. It was dark but I could still see.

It felt good to be so connected to the Earth.

As I became aware of my heights again, a gentle breeze blew. My branches gently and easily swayed with it.  There was a gorgeous light show in my energy field as the wind blew.   Beautiful lights in a kaleidoscope pattern or shapes and colours.  Seems trees like it when the wind gently blows; like pets like to be petted, they like to be touched as well.

And as the sun shone upon me, I could feel myself like a sponge soaking up all the energy I could. I could feel myself pulling toward the light, throughout my physical body, especially my cheekbones, skull and rib cage… trying to get closer and closer to the light, absorbing more and more.  It seemed like the only thing holding me back was my bone structure. And when I was full, I felt so good. Being tree, I could really sense how to pick up information from my surroundings and communicate with my energy field.

As I stepped out of the tree, I took a ray of light from my heart as a gift the tree.  As I did, it transformed into a small crystal which I left at the base to remind the tree of my gratitude. In one final gesture, I sent a gentle rain and for an instant, I was back inside the tree, feeling the joy of having a  refreshing shower and a drink with these life giving waters…
