We’ve all come here to discover who we are and to express authentically in the world.  That can get pretty mumble-jumbled!  Because we are impacted by so many influences, we can forget who we are and how we fit in.

We have energy centers in our body that carry information to help us with our purpose and to create our life. They can also hold emotional or belief wounding, and patterns that can hold us back or that propel us forward in our quest to know ourselves fully.

The root chakra is the energy center associated with our foundation.  It relates to family and “tribe,” to a sense of belonging and support. and feeling safe.

So often people grow up in environments that stifle instead of support. Much of our belief system is rooted in our early life experiences. By the time we are 7 years old, we’ve ingrained patterns from family, school and religion, that teach us what we need to do or be to be acceptable.

Often many of those old beliefs and patterns no longer serve us.  We can hold on to old feelings of anger, sadness, fear and guilt that distort our sense of self, our family and fitting in.  We learn how to judge ourselves and others, even on an unconscious level, by these early experiences. We stop being grounded and spend too much time in our heads or our emotions.  We forget who we are and how we fit into the whole.

I’d like to invite you to reach out for some deep healing and exploration of your root chakra foundation.   If you’re ready to learn more about yourself and experience some transformational energy work, please inquire about my workshop…
