And as soon as I finished the words, zang, like energy from above just vibrated all of my molecules. I stand up and I, and I look in the mirror. The blood was gone. The tears are gone. The eye was perfectly healed. Welcome to Exploring the Mystical Side of Life with your host, Linda Lang.

Today we are talking spiritual awakening and energy mastery. We have healer and teacher of spirituality, metaphysics, and energy mastery, Michael Monk with us. Welcome, Michael.

Michael Monk:
Hello, Linda. Thanks for having me. Blessed to be here.

Linda Lang:
We’re blessed to have you, Michael. You are a long-time teacher, and one of the things that you teach is about direct knowing rather than strictly belief. Can you share how your journey into energy mastery first began?

Michael Monk:
Absolutely. I’d love to… and a self-reminder to give the short version of it, because I could very easily be the whole interview. It’s a long story. But I am quite what you would call experiential. I didn’t ask for any of this stuff to happen. It just happened to me. I was raised religious, but I was the first in my family to disband from that.

So I was in my early 20s just doing my thing, watching a comedy movie late at night, and out of nowhere, this presence came from above through what you would call the crown chakra. But I had no idea what one was at the time. I just felt this powerful presence enter my head and it spoke to me in my eardrums, like I could hear it, and I knew that it was telepathic, both. And it told me to turn the TV off, to stand up. And I told my brother, “Something’s communicating.” He’s like, “What are you doing?” I said, “I don’t know, something’s talking to me.” And then I asked who it was in my mind. I said, “Is this my grandpa?” Because my grandpa had recently died.

And it said, “Yes,” the answer was yes. And I got flooded with a feeling that I’ve come to call the Holy Spirit. A lot of people have felt it. It’s like champagne bubbles and rising through your whole body. Hairs stand, chills go up your spine, and you just feel in the presence of something marvelous. And then there was another feeling like there’s something more, you’re missing something. So I said, “Cousin Jason, are you there too?” He had recently died. The same voice said yes and flooded me with that feeling.

So I said, okay, “I’m confused. You’re my grandfather and you’re my cousin?” And then my third eye opened up, had no idea what one was, but all of a sudden I could see in spirit and I saw a huge heavenly host. I couldn’t even put a number to it. Endless humanoid-shaped light beings that were all connected and speaking to me as one voice. And my heart just realized right away what I was talking to, that this was God. And, and so I called, I said, “God, is that you?” And it gave me the same feeling except even more like excited. “Yes, you have finally met me. I give you a space and time.

You can talk to me.” I was able to maintain the connection for like 2 hours and I did ask it many questions, but none of them worth going over. They were all biblical in nature; it was the only thing that I understood at the time. And it patiently answered those questions, but kept leading me towards something else in its answers, which I later discovered was energy mastery. But that would be way, way down the road. So for 8 years, I was on total fire trying to find the truth as I could. I rejoined the church that I was from. I read the Bible. And in reading the Bible, I had this relationship with the Holy Spirit after that that even though I couldn’t always hear the voice of God, if I had a question, I would get that Holy Spirit as a yes.

If the answer was no, I’d get a slight adrenaline or a slight fear in the stomach. So it showed me things in the Bible that aren’t accepted by your typical person, like reincarnation and the existence of spiritual abilities, many other things. But it wasn’t too long after that that I had my first miracle. I was home alone and I had an accident. I got stabbed in the left of my eye by a very sharp object and it was deep and severe. And I was alone and I went in the mirror to assess the damage and blood was leaking, eye fluid was leaking too. I was going to lose my eye, straight up. No, no hope.

When I realized that, my right eye tears up and now all of a sudden I’m blind. I can’t even get to the phone if I want to, but then a strange calm came upon me and I was like, “Michael, you talked to God just a few weeks ago. Why not pray?” So I got down on my knees and prayed in the way that I knew how, and my exact words were, “Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, let my eye be healed.” And as soon as I finished the words, zang, like energy from above just vibrated all of my molecules. I stand up and I look in the mirror. The blood was gone. The tears are gone. The eye was perfectly healed.

But the strangest part was from the center of my forehead, like right where the third eye would be, blood was leaking down. And I wiped off the blood and there was no wound to excuse. There’s no reason for the blood to, to have been there.

Linda Lang:
How beautiful that your first miracle was for yourself.

Michael Monk:
That shocked me to my core. It wasn’t necessarily a happy thing. Like, like where do you go from there? Who do, who do you talk to? Probably no one, right? And, and what comes next? But yeah, to keep the story short, for about 6 years I had this prayer relationship with God. I kept looking for the truth in the Bible, kept looking for the truth in the church, but God was teaching me things that just aren’t accepted by any church that I knew, and I knew in my heart that what I was being taught was true. So eventually the modus operandi of the family became, “Michael, you need to stop this. You need to stop praying to God.

You need to stop reading the Bible. You’re going insane, you’re scaring other people.” And I sort of acquiesced to that and I said, “Okay, fine, I’ll just get myself a 3D job and I’ll just work like, like a good boy,” which is what I was doing. But then 2012 started approaching; we were on 2008 and I knew there was something to it in my heart. So in my spare time at work, I was googling 2012 and I ran across David Wilcock talking about 2012. And Wilcock would always referenced the Law of One, this writing called the Law of One, and I felt attracted to that. So I read, I downloaded it and I started reading it, and it said, “We are Ra; we communicate from the love and the light of the one Infinite Creator.” And as soon as I read that, the Holy Spirit went all through me.

And as I kept reading it, the Holy Spirit was confirming all these truths in it. And I was like, “Oh my God,” because this writing would get you burned at the stake by Christians just maybe 100 years ago, but the Holy Spirit’s confirming a lot of it to be true. Well, one of the passages in the Law of One is talking about energy and vibration and form, saying that there really is no matter, there really is no form, that we create it with our senses, that everything is energy and everything is vibration.

And I understood that not at the head level, at the heart, like the deep… I guess they call that innerstanding these days. I innerstood it, and as soon as I did, zang, I got hit with that full presence, and the voice of God came back, and it’s been years, and said, “Very good, now go outside and get away from people.” So I did, I walked out back where nobody was, and as soon as I stopped walking, the ground, everything started rippling, you know, like heat on a summer day, except it was rainbow, the colors of the rainbow, not just empty the whole thing started to vibrate. The whole world was doing this, and I wasn’t shocked. And in fact, a deep part of me remembered this place, and I knew what to do next.

Not here, but here. Basically, the feeling I did was I stepped out of the front of my chest like it was my left foot. But these days we would call that opening the heart chakra. I opened my heart chakra. As soon as I did, all of that rippling that was happening out there started happening in here. My body started turning into rainbow light. I’d look at my arms and they were fluctuating and disappearing. I looked down and I could see through myself into the concrete.

I was being, I was in this rainbow energy when all of a sudden I got scared and said, “Well, what if I can’t rematerialize?” And as soon as I had that thought, zang, it all disappeared in my heart. And now my heart’s beating out of my chest. Whereas just a minute ago, I didn’t even have a heart, but here I am back in my physicality and going, “Geez, I wish I wouldn’t have been afraid.” If I wouldn’t have had that fear-based thought, who knows where I would have gone?

Linda Lang:
I have some questions for you, Michael. First of all, it’s like your experiences are so embodied and so immense. They, they must be overwhelming for you because it’s so nonlinear and so not 3D, right?

Michael Monk:
Yeah. And it’s in 3D. I’m not out of the body, so I don’t have a body I can safely return to.

Linda Lang:
And if we go back to your first experience awakening, you were in a religious family, but you had no interest at all in metaphysics… or nothing. Had you even explored anything at all? So it just, it just came to you. And I think what’s so beautiful about that is that when it’s your time to wake up, it’s your time to wake up and they’re going to wake you up. Right? Yeah. Your soul is here on a mission and, and when it’s time, it’s time.

Michael Monk:
Yeah, and it can be traumatic to awaken a soul in that way. And so I believe a lot of us were and are chosen not because we’re special, but because so that we can share. Because there are much easier ways to wake up. You can meditate, you can focus, you can pray, you can go through a preset system that will allow these experiences to happen one at a time, where your questions about them will already be, you know, you’ll be able to be a lot more comfortable within it. But that was my first metaphysical, energetic experience. So naturally I kept reading the Law of One and got as far with that as I could.

And then I moved on to reading the Seth material, the entity channeled by Jane Roberts, which I believe to be foundational reading. I think it’s pretty much the only channel that we need to hear from because it covers everything. And there’s only so much words can take you. Eventually you need to become experiential. But anyhow, I was kept trying to get back to this place, you know, where everything was energy. And it finally happened to me in 2009. It just happened spontaneously. I was vegging out.

I was just mindlessly looking through a magazine, tore out the advertisement on the index card, and I’m staring at it like almost like a catatonic person. Like I had no care whatsoever or any presence of thought. When all of a sudden it’s like the card burst into energetic flame. Not only that, my fingers did, and I could see the energy. I could see that my hand was forming the card that I was holding and that the card was emanating all of this energy, which is in alignment with what Seth says, that we form spiritual reality. But here it was, it was happening to me because of a state of consciousness that I achieved through vegging out, through letting go, you know, which is a spiritual focus. And so I could see the energy in the room. I could see the energy on the floor.

I could take my time. I could play with it. This was now, uh, permanent through my own meditational efforts. I opened this world for myself. And so for about a year straight, all I did was I’d get home from work, I would put on my pajamas, and I’d play. I had this whole secret world that nobody knew about where everything was energy, everything was spirit. So I played and took notes very scientifically. How does it respond to my breath? How does it respond to my thoughts? How does it respond to my physical actions? Uh, you know, that, that, that was what I did for a year straight.

And yet I still didn’t think I had anything to share with the world because this is still just my private experience that I can’t prove to anybody. Well, in 2011, I started giving energy to people. I started finally interacting with and sharing to people, believing that I could, because one of the most powerful experiences I had during that time was laying on the bed and I opened up the energy when a greater part of my being, like I could tell that it was me, but an older, wiser me came in and spoke through my mouth and it said, I am not the physical body. I am the energy that flows out of it. And as soon as I stated those words, I became like a supernova, like a dying star. All the energy in the room collapsed into me and exploded back outwards. And I went with it. I, I went through the walls.

So before, my experience was I’m this tiny little energetic being in a huge energetic world. Now my experience was that the source of the energy was inside of me and that I was all of the energy that I’m seeing. So I started playing with giving other people energy and blessings. And two things I noticed, first is that I could heal people. The second was that I could cause them to move in, in states of really high consciousness when my energy would go inside of their body, they would move involuntarily according to the directions that I would project. And so I said to myself, if I can do this with human bodies, can I do it with the air? The answer was yes. Can I do this with water? Answer was yes. Can I change the weather? Can I change the clouds? Answer was yes.

So finally, I have something to show. It’s a very beautiful world, a very beautiful place. There’s much more to it than the powers. So is this a worthy share? And I decided yes. That I would start the Avatar Energy Mastery Institute, that I would upload these demonstrations of metaphysical power, the healing, the telekinetics, not for the purpose of the power itself, but so that I could lead people to this spiritual discovery about themselves and the world. Because when you go out with your energy, you actually become that which you expand into. So it feels amazing to be the air. It feels amazing to be the sun, to be the ground, to place your hand on a tree and go inside the tree and become the tree and be yourself at the same time.

So it’s, it’s a very magical sensory experience that changes the nature of this ordinary, boring 3D reality. Well, they say we are a spiritual being having a physical experience. Well, that doesn’t need to be true because I’m now a spiritual being having a spiritual experience. I feel the physical part of this world, but I always feel the spirit too. And I can sense both. So I started the Avatar Energy Mastery Institute. That was 2011 and been some ups and downs, but I’ve been at it ever since. And that’s my story in a nutshell.
