The Most Common (and Powerful) In-between Place

In my last blog of 2023, I talked about the in-between time, and how powerful it can be.  The cusp of a new year is definitely one of those times.

There is another more common, and hugely powerful time that you enter at least twice a day. It’s the in-between sleep and awake time.

In the threshold between sleep and wakefulness lies a realm that holds the potential for profound transformation. This is a space where the conscious and subconscious converge and offer our consciousness a dance of infinite possibilities.

It is during this in-between state that the human mind becomes an open canvas for change. This space offers a unique opportunity for introspection, metamorphosis, and manifestation.  It’s the same state you access in hypnosis or any type of trance work.

This is a place where you can access the deepest recesses of the psyche. It can be used to trigger healing, release patterns, expand our spiritual growth, and soul exploration, unlocking of dormant potentials that can redefine the course of your life.

And you do it every day!

Perhaps the most detrimental thing you can do is fall asleep with the TV on. With no conscious filters, whatever is playing on TV — commercials and all — can fall neatly and uncontested into the subconscious.

I’d also recommend avoiding the news directly before going to sleep. Your subconscious will be busy processing all the doom and gloom of the news day, and over time this can impact you more than you know.

Instead, use this brief in-between time for affirmations, positive visualization, or meditation.

Why not give your subconscious something positive to focus on during sleep?  Or upon waking, start your day with one simple but beautiful waking affirmation that supports you in living your best life. Repeat affirmations like a mantra when you are almost awake but not quite.

If you have any of my Spiritprayer recordings, this is a great time to use them for powerful change.  I have mine on an old-school mp3 player beside my bed. It makes it easy to access them if I wake through the night, and helps me get back to sleep while sending out powerful intentions.

How do you use the potential of this time?
