I am sure you’ve heard the phrase “falling in love with your story.” It’s really about falling in love with YOU, how you got to be who you are, accepting your past instead of making it wrong (and therefore you as well), and knowing you are enough.

It is a worthwhile journey to undertake… to drop self judgments and move into acceptance.

As a healer, I can tell you honestly that every person I have ever worked with was not only interesting, but every single person holds immense value just from their Being.  They all have gifts. Every person and their journey is totally unique. No one else is like you!

And that is exactly what this transformative time is all about.  It is like the Universe is conspiring to help each of us to be more of our authentic self, to step solidly on our path of purpose and bring more light here to this plane.  For some of us, that is a smoother ride and it still has it’s challenges. And for others, the upheaval can be chaotic. It all depends on how close you are to the path you came here to live.

When you look at others and wish you were like them, or think that your story is not enough or not interesting, you are selling yourself short. The same goes if you think your story is special – of course it is – but not more than any other’s. Remember, life isn’t a competition; it’s an adventure.  There is NO one path that works perfectly for every person.

When you are in the space of comparison or self judgment, I encourage you to embrace compassion.  For yourself.  For your journey.  Look at how far you have come. Look at your resilience.  Acknowledge the wisdom you’ve attained, even if it was through challenge.

In the last month of this decade, let’s intend to bring more presence into our life. And find our joy in our own being.  Just because we are here on this adventure.
