Seems like I’ve been talking a lot lately about the importance of listening to one’s own guidance system.  If you’re not sure you even have one, rest assured – WE ALL DO!

But maybe you’ve forgotten or stopped listening to it. It’s something I encourage all my clients to do!  When we work together, they naturally start to be able to tune in better.

If you don’t know how to access your innate wisdom, one of the  easiest ways is through Body Awareness.

Your body is communicating to you all the time, through nerve impulses, sensations and feelings. These sensations can be subtle and fleeting, or they can be intense like “gut reactions” or the little hairs on your neck standing up.

And it is simple to do!

You can start by taking notice of your own rhythm throughout the day.  Are you rushing, wound up tight or gritting your teeth?  If you are, take a step back for a moment and just breathe.  Give yourself some space and allow the breath to help you move this stressed state.

At any point in your day, bring your awareness into your body and feel.  It only takes a moment. It is not a long and complicated process.  Just feel!

And it can open the door to your intuitive gifts. It can help you define what you love to do, help you to know and truly understand your Self better, and to feel more guided in your everyday life.

Every day I encourage you to check inside and see how things feel.  If you do that, you will be surprised at the guidance, gifts and insight you will find.
