When you look out at your life, what do you see?  Is it what you expected? Is it what you hoped and dreamed for?  Are you expectations based around what you think you deserve?

What do you talk about projecting the future? Do you see the world as having gone to “hell in a hand basket?” Or that there’s trouble brewing and you’re just waiting for the other shoe to drop?

It’s so easy to expect the worse.  Maybe you think that setting your standards low means you won’t be disappointed. But thinking this way can have you slide into pessimism.

And there is no joy in Mudville. Thoughts thought over and over again become your beliefs so there is real consequence to the quality of your life when you think this way.

Deep in your unconscious mind, you have a set of core beliefs that generally form your view of the world, the perceptions of your life and of YOU!  And it is from there that your core values stem.

Expectancy is more than what you value, although value is at its roots.  The foundation, so to speak.  We are taught to expect according to our values and our beliefs, and where we fit into the world according to our perspectives.

And that is different for each one.

And from that place of perspective, it is easy to judge ourselves and others according to the values and expectations that are uniquely our own. But yet that is how we see the world, only through our eyes, not through another’s.

So if you choose the expectancy of the best possible outcome – your sense of self, your values, your desire to belong and contribute to the perception you hold in mind – all fall in line to create.

And if your expectancy falls short in manifestation, you can be sure that there is a misalignment between what you think you think, what you desire and what you expect.  It is up to you to find it, align it and expect the best possible outcome.

What do you expect for today?  A day of ease and grace, fun and adventure, or stress and struggle?  Too often we formulate our future projections by what we see and hear of our world, or more of what we’ve experienced in the past.

Expectation is about creating, so if you want to create a different outcome than what you have been getting so far, you need to shake up your habitual thoughts and patterns.  It’s time to do something different, see the world from a different point of view, think in new ways, and perceive new possibilities.
